What Can I Do?
Switch To A Different Provider
This is something that everybody who uses AT&T, Verizon, or Bell South should do, not just for the sake
of the cause, but for your own privacy's sake. If you don't know which companies are safe to use or which
are available in your area, you can go to the Safe List page, look through the list and find a company that
fits your needs best.
Write A Letter
- Write Your Congressman
Send a letter to your congressman about the NSA program. If you don't know who your congressman is, you can find him/her with this:
- Complain to the Phone Companies
Send a letter to AT&T, Verizon and Bell South and let them know what they did was wrong. Here are their contact pages:
Contact AT&T
Contact Verizon
Contact Bell South
- Say Thanks To Qwest
Of the four telephone companies the NSA allegedly contacted in USA Today's May 11th report, Qwest Communications
was the one who stood against the government and said "No!". Please give them your thanks.
Spread the Word
- Encourage your family and friends that use AT&T, MCI, Verizon or BellSouth to drop them.
- If you have a website or a blog, please link to this page on it. If you want some graphics to use, you can go to the Resources page and pick out a button or banner there.
- Print out some flyers and pass them around. There are flyers in the Resources page that you can download, or you can make your own and submit them to the site.
